#PRStudChat Challenge

On Wednesday, October 13th at 8:30 p.m. #PRStudChat hosted “Back to School Night,” another dynamic community discussion.  Joining us on our panel of educators was @karenrussel, @rdfrench @bfliu @barbaranixon @andinarvaez @melanie_James and @mihaela_v, who discussed social media in the classroom.

At the very end of the session, we announced a #PRStudChat Challenge. The community was asked to share a favorite social media classroom project. Whether it was a class blog or wiki, any project that they felt really helped them in the learning process. Several students and professors nominated their classroom projects. Here are their tweets:

ejyoung67:  In my senior #mkt420 class students read #crushit and did a personal branding project. Resulted in jobs. Here’s a recap of what we did — follow the blog posts to get the big picture http://bit.ly/bB6EaN #PRStudChat

We’re going to select the most interesting projects once all of the classroom project nominations are submitted, and then ask the #PRStudChat community to vote for the one project they like the most.

We’re very excited about the our#PRStudChat Challenge and encourage you to submit your nominations to be judged.  The winning classroom and professor will receive a special gift.
