PRStudChatThe summer of 2013 marks the one-year anniversary of a new generation of consumers who have entered into the marketplace and joined the workforce. This generation is known as iGen or Generation Z. Born between the years 1994 and 2004, iGen is significantly different than any of its predecessors. This generation is considered the most informed with an abundance of knowledge at its fingertips. iGen has no need for traditional media, as they can rely upon their peers and other consumers to make decisions. As a result, iGen is fiercely independent.  For these reasons, it’s no surprise that iGen engages differently.

On Tuesday, June 18th at 8:30 p.m. EDT, please join us as we welcome our special guest author and PR/Marketing expert, Stefan Pollack, for a #PRStudChat discussion on marketing to iGen vs. other generations.  Stefan’s new book, Disrupted, is a roadmap to connecting with iGen, a digitally native majority, and how to become a relevant part of their world.

For those of you who don’t know Stefan, he is the President of Pollack PR Marketing Group and a professor at USC Annenberg. Stefan is also the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of the Worldcom Public Relations Group’s America Region and is a past Chairman of the Board of the Century City Chamber of Commerce.  You can check out more information on Stefan here.

  • Identify what makes iGen different than other generations.
  • Engage generations in various social media communities.
  • Create loyal advocates with a post disruption generation.
  • Recognize whether or not each generation has its language.
