So he isn’t reading a physical newspaper, but is reading online outlets, listening to the radio and other news sources?

Who cares? I’ve done that “experiment” for the past 5 years.

A REAL experiment would not be watching, reading, listening to ANY news (from any outlet) and only trying to get it through word of mouth (including what people are saying on Twitter and Facebook–without clicking to links of news stories–and no blogs).

    Hi Jim,

Well…you have a point. I guess not receiving any news whether it is via newspapers, online outlets, listening to the radio or other sources would be an incredible challenge. I’m taking that you found your experiment over the past 5 years to be easy. I think we are all different. I love reading my weekend newspaper and I also like reading newspapers when I travel. I’m not sure if it’s that I couldn’t survive without them or by preference I wouldn’t want to have to do without them. Having relied on newspapers for 20+ years as a part of my career, it’s a personal preference and I would miss them. Thanks for your comment.
