    Excellent advice, Deirdre, that so often goes unheeded. Meetings can be the first step in the all-so-crucial relationship-building stage. And one mis-step can kill a potentially lucrative deal (speaking, sadly, from experience).

    Here’s hoping your readers will take note and take action.

    Kirk, we are definitely on the same page. Every meeting is an opportunity to advance a relationship. It’s a mindset that more people should adopt. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I hope more pros try this approach. It’s helped me to build some incredible relationships, although it took a few years to figure this out 🙂
