#PRStudChat Kicks off the New Year with a January 17th Twitter Discussion on SEO
#PRStudChat kicks off the New Year with a Twitter discussion on January 17th at 12:00 p.m. ET, on all things search and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). If you’re in PR and you thought SEO was someone else’s job, then you should think again. PR pros need to acquire new skills and SEO is definitely one of them. When you merge SEO with strategic public relations, the combined results can pay off in a big way.
Joining the January #PRStudChat session as our co-host and special guest is Natasa Djukanovic, (@natasad), who is the sales and marketing director of Domain.ME. Natasha will lead an informative session for students, educators and PR pros to better understand and embrace the importance of SEO and to enlighten the community on 2018 SEO best practices.
A few of the topics / questions the community and Natasa will answer include:
- What is SEO?
- How important is for PR professionals to learn SEO?
- Which SEO factors should PR professionals pay attention to?
- How can PR pros keep up with the latest trends in SEO? Please name a few sources that could help them stay up to date.
- Does having a personal website/blog help PR pros better understand SEO?
- What advice do you have for students and PR pros wanting to start their own blog?
- What are the five most important steps PR pros must keep in mind when starting with SEO?
- What are the dos and don’ts of SEO for PR pros>
- Any final words on SEO?
We hope you’ll join us for a #PRStudChat deep-dive into SEO with special guest, Natasa Djukanovic, on the 17th. As always, we welcome your questions before or during the chat. You can tweet @PRStudChat, @CorinaManea, @ValerieSimon or @DBreakenridge with any SEO questions you would like answered.
See you on January 17th at 12:00 p.m. ET!
About #PRStudChat
It began with a simple question asked by Angela Hernandez, then President of PRSSA at Central Michigan University (CMU). “Is PR Right for me?” A follow-up blog post by Communication Strategist Deirdre Breakenridge inspired a series of direct messages on Twitter between Breakenridge and fellow PR industry pro, Valerie Simon. This was an important question and one that should be explored beyond one student or one blog post. Why not build a community to help students across the country, and even the globe, learn from the experience and perspective of industry professionals … A community where everyone can learn and grow together.
