Thank you for sharing this guest post Harrison, and congratulations on your amazing work for Tweet Drive. Having seen Movember grow from a local campaign here in Australia to a global initiative that raised more than $110 million this year for men’s health, I couldn’t agree more that we are only now beginning to unlock the power of social media and the social enterprise for social good.

It will be extremely interesting to see in coming years whether social media activity to drive social good becomes part of the standard practice among CSR professionals and corporate initiatives. This area of corporate governance has already grown so rapidly recently and developed its own systems of metrics and reporting that it would be wonderful to see social media activity integrated in this reporting and activity through social good campaigns.

To have corporations unlocking this power to complement the activities that great people like you are already leading with would be a wonderful step forward for both social good and society in my opinion.

    Best, Jamie
